The guest house is non-smoking inside. The second floor has a queen bedroom opening onto the front balcony, upstairs bath with a jacuzzi tub with a large picture window framing a private vista of the mesa, fully equipped kitchen with another spectacular view, dining area opening to the back deck, and living room with gas fireplace. Both decks offer breathtaking views of the mountains and the mesa. The Pecos ruins are visible from the front balcony.
On the first floor are two bedrooms. One is a double that opens out onto its own patio, the other can be converted to a work studio. Twin beds or king available. These bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower. A futon and a fold-out couch provide additional sleeping space upstairs. Cots or additional fold-out couches available.
The house is self-hosted. Bedding is provided with extra pillows in each bedroom. Bathrooms have a hairdryer, towels, and terrycloth robes. The living room has satellite television with 6 movie channels, VCR player, a selection of movies and a CD/tape player. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes, glasses and dinnerware for 8 people. Automatic drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave oven, stove and full-sized refrigerator. There will be a morning's supply of regular and decaffeinated coffee and creamer. Charcoal grill on the back deck. The space is perfect for creative work with wonderful light coming in from all directions. The natural beauty, quiet and solitude make it perfect for writing and painting. Kiln, potter's wheel, and worktable available in the studio. There's plenty of room and perfect light for an easel. Discounted weekly rates and studio fees are available upon request.
